Panalyt Welcomes New CEO and Leadership Team for 2024

Panalyt Group is pleased to announce the appointment of a new leadership team, effective November 1, 2023. The transition marks an exciting new chapter for Panalyt as the company strengthens its mission to “Make better people decisions through meaningful data insights.”

Former CEO of Panalyt Inc. (Japan), Takako Ogawa, has been promoted to Group CEO, succeeding Daniel J. West. Joining her on the leadership team are Chi Tran as Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Alex Balon-Perin as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This dynamic team is poised to drive Panalyt’s growth and innovation in the years ahead.

Leadership Team Bios

Takako Ogawa (CEO)
A co-founding member of Panalyt since January 2019, Takako Ogawa has been instrumental in the company’s development, overseeing business operations, team management, investor relations, and public relations. With extensive experience in HR, including talent acquisition, learning and development, and analytics, Takako previously served as a senior project manager in the Strategy & Operations department at Google’s US headquarters. At Google, she played a key role in enhancing the company’s hiring processes and designing impactful training and recognition programs, earning the Most Innovative & Creative Award at the 2014 APAC People Operations Summit. In 2023, Takako assumed the role of Group CEO at Panalyt, bringing her strategic vision and leadership to the global stage.

Chi Tran (COO)
Chi Tran brings a wealth of experience in management consulting, data analytics, and business solutions development to his role as COO. His career includes impactful roles at BCG, Recruit Holdings, and Google. At Recruit, Chi supported early-stage international business expansion across 11 locations and was recognized as the youngest executive candidate. At Google, he led initiatives to validate marketing ROI and develop new solutions that integrated creativity with data. Chi co-founded Panalyt Japan in 2019 and now serves as Group COO, where he continues to drive operational excellence and strategic growth.

Alex Balon-Perin (CTO)
Alex Balon-Perin is a seasoned technology leader with over a decade of experience building product foundations for startups. Before joining Panalyt, Alex was Head of Product Engineering at Paidy, a FinTech unicorn, where he led multiple engineering teams. His prior experience includes working as a backend engineer at Gilt Groupe, a flash sales startup. Alex excels in navigating the challenges of fast-growing startups, particularly in delivery speed, code quality, and security, making him an invaluable asset to Panalyt’s technology strategy.
